Anger in Workplace

  1. Recongize the Risk
High levels of anger can drastically increase the risk of injury on the job.
  2. Choose to Stay Calm
Don’t react immediately. Pause, breathe, and respond after thinking.
  3. Communicate Clearly
If someone upsets you, speak directly—but respectfully. Express how you feel without aggression. Communication helps de-escalate tension.
  4. Focus on the Positive
Avoid dwelling on things outside your control. Replace negative thoughts with gratitude and perspective. Positivity improves your overall approach to work and life.
