Water Testing

Whole-Home Water Filtration That Starts With a Water Test

Finken's approach to whole-home water filtration begins with expert testing, not guesswork. From sediment to PFAS, we match you with the right filtration system based on your unique water chemistry.

Step 1: Start with a Water Check

Before recommending any equipment, we perform a free in-home water test. This ensures:

  • Proper system sizing
  • Accurate filter selection
  • Optimal performance based on your water chemistry

Every home’s water varies by source and location. Testing ensures the system you choose is efficient, effective, and aligned with your goals and budget.

Step 2: Review Results and Filter Options

After testing, we review your water’s quality, looking for indicators such as:

  • Sediment and rust
  • Iron and sulfur
  • Chlorine and PFAS
  • Other problem minerals

With these results, we help you choose the right whole-home filter solution. You won't need to guess which product is best. We’ll show you what will work and why.

Step 3: Choose the Right Filtration System

We offer three levels of whole-home protection. Each system uses high-performance cartridges tailored to your needs:

  • HydroCure System — Good:
Reliable first-line defense against common water issues. Ideal for city water or homes with moderate sediment and chlorine levels.
  • Filter One (Enpress) — Better:
Higher filtration capacity and more flexibility. Designed for well water or homes facing multiple water quality concerns.
  • Pioneer System — Best:
Our top-tier option with advanced PFAS and lead reduction. NSF-certified for contaminant removal beyond industry standards.

Sediment Filters

These filters handle sand, rust, and dirt down to as small as 1 micron, depending on the model. They’re especially effective at protecting plumbing and appliances from visible particles and buildup.

Carbon Filters

Carbon filtration dramatically improves taste and odor by removing chlorine at up to 98–99% effectiveness. Standard carbon blocks also reduce PFAS by 60–90%, while advanced models like the Pioneer PFAS block are NSF-certified for greater than 95% removal.

Combo Filters

Combo cartridges offer both sediment and chlorine reduction in one solution. They’re a practical option when your water contains both visible particles and chemical contaminants

Speciality Filters

Specialty cartridges are designed for tough problems like iron staining, manganese, sulfur odors, and arsenic. While not a replacement for full treatment systems in extreme cases, these filters are ideal for homes with moderate mineral levels or unpleasant smells.
