DEPARTMENT: Bottled Water

REPORTS TO: Director of Bottled Water/Operations/IT

SUPERVISES: Drivers, Route Lead/Sales

WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Director of Bottled Water/Operations/IT, Drivers, Route Lead/Sales, Customer Service/Service Coordinator

GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for daily route fulfillment and coordination. Main contact for driver questions, concerns and issues. Assist retail customers and maintain showroom.

Retail Sales

  • Answer incoming calls, email and fax.
  • Greet walk-in customers and help them with purchasing products or answering questions.
  • Carry out all customer purchases.
  • Assist customers with delivery and credit card payment calls.
  • Keep front reception area stocked with products and clean.
  • Clean and organize showroom.


  •  Responsible for driver dispatching.
  • Go through route books – reschedule any deliveries that did not get done.
  • Update routes.
  • Turn in vehicle reports.
  • Put keys away in lockbox.
  • Generate daily tickets for routes.
  • Print route books and get all work orders handed out.
  • Get store supply list to drivers.
  • Get keys for drivers.
  • Be available for driver questions.
  • Mapping and new customer placement.


  • AR calls for water delivery.
  • Check for any non-completed tickets.
  • Organize driver payments and send to St. Cloud.
  • Check late customer report. Call late customers. Keep track of non-completed tickets.
  • Assist with satellite store questions and paperwork.
  • Post checks if needed.
  • Do payroll reports for route drivers.

Employee Management Functions

  •  Track employee’s attendance, vacation, sick, etc., run the appropriate payroll reports and turn into HR for payroll.

Routing / Coffee

  • Maximize route efficiency whenever possible, proactively look for ways to combine or save on routes, know the routing system “inside & out.”
  • Print route books & Load sheets every day in the afternoon before leaving for next days’ routes * Set up new customers on existing routes.
  • When coffee orders come in, fill them, determine whether to ship (Fed Ex) or to send with route driver, keep in contact with customer regarding their order. Give to Matt S if shipping other than via routes.
