Job Summary:
Finken is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee the HVAC and Plumbing service divisions at our St. Cloud location. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, team leadership, and high-quality service delivery in both residential and commercial settings.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, technical expertise, and hands-on leadership to the service teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficiency in service operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of HVAC and Plumbing service technicians.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure a high-performing team.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance to maintain excellent service standards.
- Manage service schedules to ensure efficient and timely job completion.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Analyze service data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Develop and implement processes to enhance workflow and efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Conduct team meetings to ensure communication and alignment on company goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in service management within the HVAC and/or Plumbing industry.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong ability to motivate, coach, and develop service technicians.
- Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of business operations, resource allocation, and service planning.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, maintenance, and repair.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to analyze service challenges and implement solutions.
- Project Management: Experience in managing service schedules, workflow, and team performance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and service management software.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Customer Service Mindset: Ability to ensure a positive customer experience and resolve issues efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
- Work Environment: Primarily an office setting with field visits as needed.
- Mobility: Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Lifting: Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Field Work: Occasional on-site visits to assist, inspect, or oversee service operations.
