Job Summary:
Finken is looking for a motivated HVAC Apprentice to join our Plumbing & Heating team. In this role, you will work under a licensed or experienced HVAC Installer to gain hands-on experience in both residential and commercial HVAC applications. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the HVAC industry and achieve Journeyman certification.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with installing a broad range of HVAC fixtures and components.
- Learn to operate tools and equipment safely and skillfully.
- Read and comprehend plans and blueprints for installations.
- Analyze and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Follow and execute oral and written instructions effectively.
- Work cooperatively with team members, customers, and supervisors.
- Ensure job sites and company vehicles remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Submit daily paperwork to the HVAC Manager.
- Follow all Finken safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education & Training: No prior HVAC experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to learn and use hand and power tools efficiently.
- Licensing: Must be willing to work toward Journeyman certification.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs. unassisted and working in various conditions.
- Time Management: Punctuality and attendance are mandatory.
- Driving: Must have a valid MN driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Work may require bending, standing, climbing, and walking for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable working at heights up to 3 ft. and lifting/carrying equipment.
- Must be willing to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Absolutely no smoking in company vehicles or buildings; permitted only in designated areas.
Pay Range:
💰 $21 - $35 per hour (Based on experience)
