General Function
Finken is seeking a Water Treatment Service Technician responsible for installing residential water treatment equipment. The ideal candidate will have technical experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Install a broad range of water treatment fixtures and components.
- Operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely.
- Perform physical activities, including lifting equipment (up to 100 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, and walking.
- Read and comprehend plans and blueprints relevant to job assignments.
- Analyze and respond safely and appropriately to emergency situations.
- Follow and give oral and written instructions effectively.
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with customers and co-workers at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Follow all Finken safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Work Schedule: Minimum hours of 7 AM - 5 PM daily or as needed. Weekend and evening hours may be required.
- Valid MN Driver’s License: Must have a personal vehicle and an acceptable driving record. May need to travel to job sites independently.
- Job Site & Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe job site and company vehicle (interior and exterior). No smoking in company vehicles or buildings; permitted only in designated areas.
- Paperwork Submission: Submit paperwork to the Water Treatment Customer Service Coordinator daily.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs.
