General Function

Finken is seeking a Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems for residential and commercial projects, including remodeling and service work. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair a broad range of plumbing fixtures and components, including pumps, valves, boiler systems, compressors, and water treatment systems.
  • Operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely.
  • Read and comprehend blueprints and plans as necessary for job assignments.
  • Analyze and respond safely and appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Follow and execute oral and written instructions.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships and demonstrate professionalism and respect for all customers and co-workers at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Observe all Finken safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Work Schedule: Minimum hours of 7 AM - 5 PM daily or as needed. Weekend and evening hours may be required.
  • Valid MN Driver’s License: Must have an acceptable driving record and be able to travel to job sites independently.
  • Job Site & Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe job site and company vehicle (interior and exterior). No smoking in company vehicles or job site structures; smoking permitted in designated areas only.
  • Paperwork Submission: Submit timecards, work orders, and other required paperwork to the Plumbing Division Manager daily.
  • Tools & Equipment: Must have personal hand tools. Finken provides power tools. Any missing or broken tools/parts must be reported to the Division Manager immediately.
  • Licensure: Must maintain all required licenses and qualifications.

Physical Requirements

  • Perform physical activities, including lifting equipment (up to 100 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, and walking.
