There are two types of Iron, Ferrous and Ferric.  Ferrous Iron is removed through the ion exchange process with a basic water softener.  Ferric Iron is a little more stubborn.  Both types can leave some nasty orange stains in your sink, shower, laundry, dishwasher, and even in your hair.  In my estimation if you have orange hair its because you want orange hair.  For the rest of us with a nice orange tint to your hair its most likely caused by the unwanted iron in your homes well water.

Check out these photos.  They will probably look familiar to many of you.  I would be happy to help you out with these iron problems or any other water concerns you may have.
